Nursery Aims and Objectives
- To promote a warm and caring environment.
- To enhance learning through play.
- To meet the individual needs of each child and allow them the opportunity to develop to their full potential, Working in partnership with parents, carers and outside individuals.
- To follow and work within the suggested frame work set by the Ministry of Education covering the Foundation Stage Curriculum .
- To provide and maintain a safe, stimulating environment and offer opportunities for many new and varied experiences.
- To put policies and procedures into practise.
- To include everyone - staff, children, and parents into all aspects of nursery life.
- To incorporate a range of cultures, festivals and celebrations into the curriculum.
- To visit parents/carers and children in their own homes.
Program Goals
- To develop a positive sense of self concept in the child

- To widen the childs world of people, experiences, ideas, and things: introduction to the surrounding environment.
- To increase competence and skills in language arts: reading, writing, listening, thinking, and speaking
- To increase competence in counting and children knowing about their living
- To increase physical coordination skills
- To increase competence in dealing with emotional feelings and social situations
- To increase competence in self-direction, initiative and independence
- To develop cooperative trusting relationships and team work
- To develop the childs natural curiosity and his/her creative potential
